“You can kiss all the frogs you want and hope to find your prince charming by searching with your own eyes, but what if you fixed your eyes and searched for the light ? Will it not be better if God showed you prince charming instead of ‘you’ kissing every frog?”
Daisy is a nice girl with a big heart, but shy and quite like a silent cloud. She could cry every time when she looked in the mirror, wondering why people couldn’t see her any clearer. She felt ugly and alone, even though she was in a big crowed full of people.
Daisy is a romantics and knows everything about love, she knew God loved her before she was born, but sometimes she had her doubts. She knew what kind of guy she wanted, but was he the one she needed? And this time God said: “No my precious child he is not the man you need, you need a man who loves you as much as he loves me. But how can you love someone if you never loved me?”
Daisy was so upset not because of what God said, she felt lonely and ugly and felt like no one ever wanted to hold her tiny hand.
Matthew 11:28-30: “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
She focused on her study and left God on her book shelf, later from time to time she paid a visit and walked away, she was amazed by every story; she was amazed by every letter. It was so easy after all that pain to let it go and grow as a woman, to grow in spirit.
Matthew 6:31-33: “Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”
She became a strong young lady, brave with an even bigger heart. Josh, was the guy she met when she only focused on God. He held her tiny hand and told stories about the Lord, she Left all her doubts behind and her ugly thoughts, for once she felt loved and beautiful by a real gentleman; a gift from God. It took her a while to realize what she was worth, no man on earth could touch her heart and show her what she was worth. It was all God who made her grow and see, once you let him, he will make let you be; the one you were meant to be.
She was so lucky that God even picked him. Daisy and Josh became one and invested everything in him and that, that is love.
Proverbs 3:5-7: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord, and turn away from evil.”
You can’t build a relationship by putting the one you see first, once you accept God in your life you accept Gods work and what he’s about to put on your path. When you go into a relationship ask yourself: “Where am I standing with God and did God tell me he is the one?”
And it’s kind of a funny story because God gave her an opportunity to change and become a wife. Self-pity is never an option, don’t give the devil the idea of wining by destroying you, there is no need to drown yourself when God gave you a new day to try all over again. When you choose God, you choose life, love and opportunities.
