1 John 4:7
“Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God.”
Love is not envious, boastful, rude, self seeking or being angry and it certainly isn’t about holding stuff against each other. Love is about being patient, kind, truthful and protecting. It is about putting the person you love first, even before yourself. Love each other in the way that God loves you.
“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet only your brothers, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same? You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.”
Love shouldn’t be stressful and you should never settle down for less, you deserve better and you deserve more. God is saving your future love for the perfect moment to bring him or her to you. Maybe you already found him or her and that is great! But just remember that it if feels right it is right, if it gives you second thoughts that you’re not good enough and worthless, this person may not be the person God wants you to be with. As I already wrote, love is about being patient. But don’t worry if you’re having a stressful time thinking about whether or not the person you love may not love you back, you should pray. Put God first in every situation that you’re in and he will help you, tell God how you feel and he’ll make it easier for you to see the truth, pray and let God do the rest!
Me and and my friend talked to a guy online because we were bored and acting all crazy, but this guy was so sad and he asked us how we could be this happy. We told him that we were trying to have fun because we were bored, and then we asked him why he was so upside because he said that he could not be as happy as we were. He told us that his girlfriend cheated on him after 2 years and it broke his heart. We felt so bad for him so were trying to cheer him up, we couldn’t talk to him after that because his battery died. That was so sad! I told him that maybe this girl wasn’t the right one for him and that I didn’t know him but still I felt like he deserves best. What I’m trying to say is that some things don’t go as hoped and that might hurt you allot, but if it isn’t meant to be it will be because God has something much better in store for you!
