“Expensive taste but no money”
I’m obsessed with graphic clothing or anything that’s different in a beautiful way. I know this brand is expensive and I would never buy such things for a price like that, but it can be inspiring. Inspiring because you see a creation on a piece of fabric and wonder how it became like that. Fashion can be art and art can be fashion, I see this brand as art because it’s different and unique.
Lazy Oaf is a London fashion label with bright bold clothing and accessories for men and women. This brand is created by designer Gemma Shiel in 2001. This brand started out as a small men’s T-shirts hand screen printing thing in Gemma’s dads garage, and sold on a market stall in Spitalfields. And now you can find her work In their dependent Soho boutique in London and in over 250 stores worldwide. Something that started out as a small T-shirt collection has now become a complete product of funny tops. knitwear, outerwear, shoes and stationery. Lazy Oaf is colorful with cartoons and always with a bit of weirdness. This brand is focused on unique vision street wear and youth nostalgia, they like to design clothes that will makes you smile. They are also trying to keep this brand amazing by teaming up with some of their favorite people exclusive collaborations like their Looney Tunes collection with Warmer Tunes, The Batman collection with DC Comics and Underground Creeper.
They are more than just a clothing label, they like to invite friends and fans to special events where include drawing extravaganza in the Turbine Hall of the Tate Modern and a 10th Anniversary party complete with balloons, a burger birthday cake and Lazy Oaf tattoo parlours.
